CHA is a proactive player and a strong advocate in the rehabilitation, reconstruction and sustainable social and economic development of Afghanistan and in the promotion and strengthening of Afghan civil society as an active and vibrant force and partner in this process. CHA works to make a visible and recognized contribution to the realization of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Afghan society.
CHA invites eligible Afghan applicants to apply for the Senior Internal Auditor position, based at CHA Network Office in Kabul.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific Duties:
Quarterly internal audit of Network bodies.
Quarterly internally project audit according to the standard guideline.
Finalization of accounts and management letters.
Check all the cash count on daily basis
Review the polices and Procedures and update as requirement.
Performs other auditors as required and assigned by Director of Finance Control and audit assistant in external audit.
Correspondence with Donor bodies for the projects fund issues; if necessary face to face meeting with them.
Responding to external auditors quarries/requirements
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications required:
CA Foundation of ICAP or MBA
Good recording capabilities.
At least 8 year experience in large scale financial operation as audit supervisor and senior auditor.
Ability to interact effectively with organization personnel.
Excellent oral and written English skills.
High computer skills on MS Office programs and knowledge of any other account package.
A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action as to not delay program activities.
Clear communication skills and attentiveness, team building skills.
A willingness to travel to other CHA offices for internal audit.
